Whitefield Properties has a very clear and easy application process for tenants.
STAGE 1
Prospective tenants will meet with one of representatives at the property to establish whether the property is suitable for their needs. If the prospective tenant decides that they would like to make an application for the property they will need to complete an application at our offices on Milton Crossroads
A fee for each applicant (and each guarantor if required) is paid along with a holding fee of £100. At this point we will also require you to produce the following documentation:
- Proof of Identity (current photocard driving licence, current passport or original birth certificate)
- Proof of current address (dated within the last three months, mobile phone bill not accepted)
- Last 3 months personal bank statements
STAGE 2
Your application will be processed and the landlord approached with your offer of tenancy. (In the unlikely event that the landlord decides not to accept your application then a full refund of all fees paid at application will be made)
We will apply for references from a credit agency, employers and previous landlord(s) where applicable - N.B. Employers references must be received by us within 5 working days of your application being made in order to avoid the property being remarketed.
On receipt of acceptable references from all parties concerned we will then contact you to arrange payment of the balance of your security deposit on the property and to finalise a move in date at the property (this move in date can be no later than 4 weeks after the application has been submitted). The move in date will be confirmed in writing to you and we will send a draft contract for you to examine prior to your move in at the property.
STAGE 3 On the agreed move in date we will meet you at the property. We will agree the condition of the property with you by means of a detailed inventory and photographs. You will be asked to pay your first month's rent and enter into the tenancy agreement. Future rent payments will then be due per calendar month from the date of move in. Should you require an alternative payment date, you can contact our office to discuss your requirements.
WE DO NOT CHARGE A FEE TO RENEW A TENANCY AGREEMENT
